Four runway trends you need to try

Style, Uncategorized

Hey guys! With spring right around the corner, I thought it would be nice to share some upcoming trends we have seen on instagram and the NYFW runways!

Trend 1: NEON

I have seen so many neon pieces on fashion influencers and celebs this month! The pop of color can be really cool with some fun sunglasses or shoes. These colors are very bold though! Would you consider wearing neon?                                                                            Shop my favorite neon pieces- Neon yellow mock neck turtleneck sweater,  Neon cropped cami,  Lime cropped puffer,  Neon lime oversized sweatshirt,  IMG_2700.jpg

Trend 2: Chunky sneakers

Chucky sneakers have been everywhere lately. You earthier love them or hate them! Personally I love my chunky sneakers because they can be paired with so many fun outfits. For example if you wear chunky sneakers with a dress, it will instantly make your outfit more edgy and cool.                                                                                                  Shop my favorite chunky sneakers-  Fila Disruptor sneakers, Gucci crystal sneakers, Dolce & Gabbana gold sneakers,  Louis Vuitton chunky sneakersIMG_2709.jpg

Trend 3: Layering

I love this trend especially because I live in freezing New York! Layering a turtle neck, with a sweater, then leather jacket, then coat always looks so trendy and stylish. The best part is its sure to keep you warm!                                                                                                Shop my favorite layering pieces- Turtleneck log sleeve,  Leather jacket, Camel color puffer jacket, Oversized denim jacket

Trend 4: Miniature bags

Honestly not sure how I feel about this trend. Mini bags look cool but are that useful especially if you carry a lot around! For me these bags are great because all I carry is my phone, a charger, and some chapstick lol! Overall they are not very useful, but they are a chic and trendy piece to have in your closet.                                                                                    Shop my fav mini bags- Red Gucci, Blue Prada, Marc Jacobs,

Easter looks 2018

Only  a few more days until Easter! My family doesn’t do anything huge on this holiday! Just a quiet day with church, candy and travel. Believe it or not, on Easter we are usually on a plane for spring break vacay! This year we are headed to the Bahamas again! Although on the plane I will not be wearing one of these looks, I will be wearing them to church and brunch with the fam! Today I am sharing my top pics for the best outfits this Easter! See below for links and descriptions.

1.)  I LOVE these dresses because they are casual but still very cute! The gorgeous floral embroidery on the first dress really reminds me of spring as well as the beautiful blue color on the second dress!

2.) If dresses are not really your thing why not try a colorful jumpsuit! The color yellow is super trendy and recently I have seen it everywhere! IMG_7350.JPG Turquoise jumpsuit: Zara            Yellow jumpsuit: Zara

3.) These looks are super fun and feminine! The lace detail is amazing and so pretty! The top can even be worn with jeans for a more casual look. IMG_7353.JPGLace top (also in blue): Hayden Girls      Lace dress: Hayden Girls

4.) The last pieces I picked out are a stunning pastel pink color! Pastel colors really remind me of easter and I love the detail on both of these pink dresses! IMG_7349.JPGRuffle Dress: Jcrew                One shoulder dress: Zara

Polka dots, Gingham and Stripes trending now!

Hi guys! So happy today is a snow day! Spending today being cozy and working on blog content after finishing my homework of course! Have you heard of the Who What Wear collection at Target? They have the cutest pieces! The best part is they are super affordable and on trend!

Read my article: Who What Wear

This Stripe dress is so, so cute and the perfect piece to dress up or down as I did with converse sneakers! Its has super stretchy, soft material that makes you feel like you are wearing sweats not a dress.

The next look I picked up is this amazing one shoulder gingham blouse. It has a big bow on the shoulder which I love! Its girly yet cool because of the different shape. I saw a lot of my favorite bloggers wearing bobby pins during fashion week such as Brittany Xavier. I simplified the hairstyle anyone can do it at home.

Here I mixed high waisted checked pants with a super cute polka dot tank top! I love how these look together but they are also great basics to wear on their own! I accessorized with a beret in one look and sunglasses in another!

Today I styled an amazing distressed set from their spring collection three ways! The set is a beautiful grey color with a cold shoulder and distressed holes everywhere. Getting the look for less!

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about recreating bloggers looks and my experience with it. Ever love a influencers clothing and then you check the price! Not every one can afford a $500 tee shirt! This is a real struggle when you are just starting out and want to look on trend but still unique! Today I am showing you how I recreated bloggers looks for much less!

The first blogger I did is Camila Coelho, I have followed her since I started Instagram! Camila does amazing beauty and skincare videos, but she also has a great eye for fashion. She has about 7 million followers so she is really busy! I was inspired by one of her looks and wanted to recreate it for less! (shop below)IMG_3863.jpgSHOP MY LOOK–  Striped teeTarget   Denim skirt: Kids (dark wash)  Kids (light wash)   Womens denim skirt      Baker boy cap: Black              Pink Blazer: Forever21       ZaraIMG_0103.jpg    The next look I recreated was Aimee Song from Song of Style. This look was super fun to shoot! I went to a pink wall and got some amazing pics! I love Aimee’s style because I can really relate to it. Plus she always looks effortlessly chic! Creating one of Aimee’s looks was the best decision ever! Later that night I found myself in her Instagram story, which was crazy because she is my idol! Then Who What Wear reached out to me and wrote a article on it! My picture also got over 1000 likes on insta which was pretty cool for a small blogger like me! It was the best day ever! How I edit my photos

Recently I have received many direct messages, about how I edit my photos. Most of my photos are taken with my iPhone, while others are taken with my camera.  My favorite editing app at the moment is SNAPSEED. Most apps just allow you to brighten the whole image, but using the brush (located in tools) snapped lets you brighten certain things. Such as your face. This is what I did in the pic below. Snapseed also allows you to saturate or un-saturate things. I use the white balance (also in tools) to change the temperature to warmer or cooler tones. And last I use tune image (in tools) to make the entire photo brighter and ambiance, which makes the subject stand out.  My second favorite app is FACETUNE. I use the detail tool to make the clothes I am wearing or my hair stand out in the photo. I also use Facetune to whiten the backgrounds of my photos in my mirror shots. I do this because, all though my walls are white, the light in the room can cause the walls to look yellow.  I use the app UNUM, to plan out my insta feed and see my top liked posts! Also COLORSTORY, is a super fun app to add suns or beautiful light leaks into your pictures. This is a great app for travel shots, as well as DISTRESSEDFX, which allows you to add birds and sunsets into your shots! VSCO, is a good app for filters. I like to stick to one and turn it down to about 4.  And lastly AFTERLIGHT, I use Afterlight to brighten contrast and highlight my photos. They also have awesome borders you can add to your photos and light leaks as well. Those are the apps I use to edit. I don’t use every single one for every picture but they are all used. My pictures are taken by my Mom and sometimes friends or my brother if I am around them when I want a shot! I hope this helps your editing game!! XO
